This sriracha aioli is an extremely versatile sauce. It honestly tastes good with so many different foods and best of all it is super easy to make. It only takes about 5 minutes to throw together and BAM you've elevated your food. Besides, making your own sauce makes you feel fancy.
How to make sriracha aioli
So, there is not a ton to explain here, this is a SUPER simple recipe. Just measure out the below ingredients into a small bowl, mix it up, and you're all set.
Mayonnaise: No one needs to know that you didn't make your own aioli as a base. Prepared mayo works just as well when you're adding extra flavors to your sauce and it's less finicky.
Sriracha: You know it, you love it (presumably if you're on this page), it's a nicely balanced chili garlic hot sauce. This recipe only calls for 1 teaspoon of the stuff but feel free to go crazy with it, if that's your jam.
Sour cream: So technically you don't really need sour cream for an aioli but it makes it extra creamy, so it's worth it.
Dijon Mustard: Dijon is something that I like to add to a lot of sauces. It adds a little bit of tang to help balance the flavors.
Spices: Some garlic, a little cayenne, and a pinch of salt and you're off to the races.
Ways to use sriracha aioli
- Spread it on your burger bun
- Add a dollop or two to your chicken tacos
- Spice up your breakfast burrito
- Serve it as a dip for French fries
This is an easy recipe AND it looks fancy. What more can you ask from your food? Get your sauce mixed up, put on your top hat, and get ready to feel superior.
