Friday nights are the only "late night" that I get to share with Elias each week. Working different schedules makes it challenging to get quality time together, even when I work at home multiple days a week. That said, we take advantage of our late night hangouts to indulge in food, drink, games and of course, each other's company. And what's a more indulgent late night snack than buffalo wings? This wing sauce is the perfect dressing for a big old plate of air fried chicken wings.
A couple months ago, I finally acquired one of my new favorite tools - an instant pot with an air fryer lid. I use this miraculous device all the time. My favorite use for the air fryer? You guessed it, chicken wings! Elias was a bit of a skeptic about the air fryer. He found it hard to believe that it would produce equally good results as a deep fryer. Let's just say he is never upset when I bring out the chicken wings.
Now, if you are not a wing or meat lover, have no fear. This buffalo wing sauce is also great on air fried tofu. I imagine it would also be pretty excellent tossed over some air fried cauliflower. Really, this sauce is going to make just about any crisped up food better. And look, if you cut up some celery for the side, you can practically call this health food. That's how that works, right?
Get your wings tossed, your drinks out, and enjoy the company of your favorite humans. Sometimes, self-care is prioritizing quality time with loved ones, however you choose to do it.

[…] in, with my favorite person (read: Elias). I previously shared my recipe for a gosh darn perfect buffalo wing sauce. That being said, no matter how good they are, we can’t always have standard buffalo wings. […]
