We all know that potatoes are amazing. Boil 'em, mash 'em, stick 'em in a stew...or just toss them in the air fryer. This super simple recipe for air fryer baby potatoes only takes about 15 minutes and only requires 5 ingredients. Best of all, there is no chopping required. Do not let the ease of the recipe fool you. These garlic herb baby potatoes are crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and pair well with just about any protein.
FAQs
These potatoes take just 15-20 minutes to be cooked perfectly.
Cook the potatoes at 400 °F. You want to cook them at a higher temperature in order to get a nice crispy exterior without overcooking them.
If you do not have an air fryer, do not fear. This recipe can also be made easily in the oven. To roast the baby potatoes instead, cook them on a large baking sheet for 20-25 minutes at 425 °F.
Mix up the flavor
One of the great virtues of potatoes is their adaptability to differing taste preferences. The included recipe is flavored with garlic powder, thyme, and salt but there are a multitude of other options if that's not your thing.
Salt and pepper: Make this recipe even simpler by just using the classic combination of salt and pepper. You don't need to have anything besides the basics to make a great side dish!
Taco seasoning: This option is very simple if you're already made a batch of homemade southwest seasoning, which I sprinkle over so many different things. If you do not want to go through that effort, there are a number of great pre-made mixes available at most grocery and spice stores.
Mediterranean seasoning: This blend combines strong flavors from a variety of cultures. If you buy a pre-made mix you will find some variation between brands. Alternatively, make your own Mediterranean mix!
