Oven Roasted Asparagus
Roasted asparagus is easy to make and makes a perfect side dish for just about any protein.

- 1 bunch Asparagus
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ⅛ teaspoon cayenne
- ½ teaspoon coarse salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Pre-heat oven to 400°F.
Place Parchment paper on a cookie sheet.
Wash asparagus, then cut off the woody ends.
Move the asparagus onto the parchment paper.
Sprinkle oil and all seasonings over asparagus, then use a utensil (or your hands) to distribute evenly.
Spread asparagus out evenly on the baking sheet.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, until a fork is able to easily penetrate the thicker ends of the asparagus.
Serve with your favorite protein and thank yourself for eating vegetables.
